slade.jpgIn today’s Hollywood InkTwilight 3 seals the deal … Evan Rachel Wood to sucky Sookie … Paul Giamatti tackles Mordecai Richler

· It’s official. 30 Days of Night and Hard Candy director David Slade will direct Eclipse, the third part of the Twilight saga, in which Bella stumbles upon a brotherhood of totally built, shirtless Frankenstein monsters in a Washington forest who wind up teaching her a lot about the mysteries of the human heart (and leg, arm, ear, etc…). [THR]

· Rumors continue to swirl around the fate of Sin City 2 — and more specifically over The Weinstein Co./Dimension’s rights to the sequel. Despite TWC attorney Bert Fields dismissing whispers TWC had let their option lapse as “hogwash,” representatives for Frank Miller’s estate are reportedly shopping the property around town to producers. Come on, Harvey! Are you going to stand for this? [THR]

· That pizza-gorging, nunchuka-swirling, turtle-faced foursome the Entourage gang Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are coming back for another live-action film. Today marks their 25th anniversary, and the “shell-ebration” festivities include turning the Empire State Building “turtle green.” Take that, Showtune Shrek! [Variety]

mara.jpg· The New Adventures of Old Christine star Clark Gregg is returning to the Iron Man series, having signed on to reprise his role as Agent Phil Coulson of S.H.I.E.L.D. in Iron Man 2. Also on board: Kate Mara (Shooter), in a mysterious role that we’re hoping involves the revelation that she. is. Iron Woman! in the sequel’s last moments. [THR]

· Two months ago, Naomi Odenkirk, who manages comic actors like Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, and Jenna Fischer, had never met Marc Provissiero, a former Willam Morris agent who once represented half of The Office’s writing staff. Now the two of them are partners in Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment, a “comedy-centric rep firm.” Only lesbians move in together faster. [Variety]

paul.jpg· Paul Giamatti will star in an adaptation of Barney’s Version, the last novel Mordecai Richler wrote before he died, and the third to be made into a feature. (The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz and Joshua Then and Now were the others.) CSI’s Richard J. Lewis will direct. [Variety]
