Ann Curry Declares Basterds a 'Powerful Statement About Large, Big, Powerful Jews'
You’ve already heard what Movieline thought about the Cannes sensation without snipped genitals, but for a second opinion, we thought we’d refer you to Ann Curry. The daffy Today correspondent cornered Brad Pitt on live television this morning, then proceeded to grill the superstar about the WWII revenge fantasy as only Cannes Ann could:
By distilling Quentin Tarantino’s decade’s-end opus into a pullquote-ready tagline — carefully calibrated to appeal to a powerful-statement-making large big powerful Jew like Harvey Weinstein — around which an entire print campaign could be built. Look for it to adorn two-page Basterds spreads in Times on both coasts, over a blood-splattered yarmulke scrawled in the phrase “WE’LL MAKE YOU SAY ‘OY.’”

God bless you for not being overwhelmed by the large-ness of the Brad Pitt persona .. but perhaps you might like to let him speak, every once in a while .. he's smarter than he looks, too.

Ann Curry is extremely annoying. I cannot believe she is still on the air. Although, most of today's on air "personalities" are silly, uninformed and uncouth.
