Career Transitions
The world has largely forgotten about Joaquin Phoenix’s premature retirement from the acting world to focus on his fledgling hip-hop career, moving on in recent months to more pleasant topics of conversation, like swine flu, Sri Lankan civil war, and Kristin Cavallari’s triumphant return to The Hills. Unfortunately, simply ignoring something doesn’t always make it go away.
Visitors to joaqdoc.com, the official home page of Untitled: Joaquin Phoenix Documentary, will find a note from Casey Affleck, in which Phoenix’s director/enabler/backseat-limo-snickerer fields submissions for any existing video that pertains to Phoenix’s “transition from movies to music.” A convenient rights waiver and upload button is provided, as is some inspirational looped footage of Phoenix tumbling off a stage at a recent performance. If you’re eager to contribute, I’d encourage you to switch on your web cameras and capture a middle-finger salute of solidarity for the project — then send those suckers right in.

"Unfortunately, simply ignoring something doesn’t always make it go away."
Maybe we could try a little harder, please?

So, really, has anyone else taken the time to tape this worthless, bearded, cleft lipped, self deprecating attention crotchfuck in action? I can't stand him on the screen much less ruining my good time at the local homeless shelter. You have enough money to buy your own soup Jo-Keen! Let people with real need cash in!

Would it be wrong to send in a video of myself lip synching to just the "here I come to save the day" parts of the Mighty Mouse theme song?
