Lifetime Boosts Runway To Record Ratings In All Cheesecake-Eating Demographics

2gwfhokrr.jpgSure, you didn’t see it advertised on any of channels you watch, but Lifetime actually managed to set a huge record with its premiere of Project Runway’s new season last night. How big were the ratings?

According to THR, Runway drew 4.2 million viewers last night, making it by far the show’s most-watched season premiere ever. For comparison’s sake, Bravo’s last iteration scored 2.9 million viewers (and though pundits at the time accused the network of lame-ducking the show, that was still its highest premiere rating ever).

Congrats, Lifetime! Mimosas, mani-pedis, and a late night binge-eating session for everyone.
