Heather Locklear Rejoins Melrose Place, But How?

heatherlocklear.jpg The CW has announced that Heather Locklear will reprise her role as Amanda Woodward on the reboot of Melrose Place. Locklear follows in the footsteps of fellow original cast members Daphne Zuniga, Thomas Calabro, Laura Leighton, and Josie Bissett, who have all signed on for recurring roles. But how well will the dastardly, hard-strutting Woodward fit in with the new cast? We investigate the potential for slap fights and smart blazers after the jump.

Amanda Woodward already closely resembles the love-scorned, tough-talking agent Ella Sims, played by Katie Cassidy. Rumors have circulated that Amanda will be related to Ella, and we hope that means advice is handed down regarding fierce boyfriend dumping and the protection of big clients from jackasses like Allison Parker. Let us observe the master at work.

I think it's a law in Hollywood that Heather Locklear can't go beyond a certain time without appearing on TV.

She's like the Herpes infection of primetime.

It's more like a superstition, like if she doesn't appear on TV for more than a year, California will sink into the sea.
