What's On: XOXO, Upper East Siders

ChuckKiss225.jpgEven though Gossip Girl is no stranger to homoerotic action, tonight’s Chuck Bass gay kiss promises a boost in ratings and frenzied analysis tomorrow. Heroes quashed any chance of a lesbian make-out ratings bump last week by preemptively leaking photos and video, but GG has remained tight-lipped on the kiss, begging the question: Will Chuck Bass seem just as smarmy making out with a man?

Gossip Girl [9 PM, CW]
From assorted cryptic interviews and press statements, we’ve pieced together that Chuck will kiss a dude (Neil Bledsoe) at the insistence of Blair (Leighton Meester), who is peeved about complications surrounding her NYU freshman toast. Making matters worse, Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) also desperately wants to give the toast. Meanwhile, Dan (Penn Badgley) introduces Olivia (Hilary Duff) to Lily (Kelly Rutherford) and Rufus (Matthew Settle).

Pot City, USA [9 PM, A&E]
You have got to give A&E credit for taking on (slightly) edgier material than its Biography series of old. Tonight’s 60-minute investigation targets the illegal weed trade in Humboldt County, Calif., a region the channel describes as “an American paradise in northern California.” The show follows law-enforcement officials who are hellbent on eliminating the county’s 1,000 illegal marijuana operations the weed trade by busting one grow house on camera at a time. We might flip through the program, but we’re more likely to watch our weed programs when they include unrealistically beautiful drug dealers and a little below-the-pier role-playing.

Million Dollar Listing [10 PM, Bravo]
Josh gets a few realty tips from his grandmother before listing land in a golf-course community. Meanwhile, Movieline Commenter Favorite Chad wins a great listing in a wealthy neighborhood of Los Angeles, only to learn an all too valuable lesson about the market. Meanwhile, Madison’s business connections are tested.

Notebook225.jpgThe Notebook [9 PM, Oxygen]
Audrina Patridge endorsed her favorite film as the kind of romance film that “just gives you hope that there’s love out there.” Grossing over $100 million worldwide and spawning a generation of women to dream about dumping James Marsden for the scraggly-bearded craftsman, it’s amazing no one has started production on The Notebook 2.
