Accidentally a Hit: jennaelfman.jpg CBS has ordered five more episodes of Jenna Elfman’s CBS sitcom Accidentally on Purpose, which has improved upon retaining the ratings from its lead-in How I Met Your Mother. Depending on where your preferences are, Accidentally on Purpose ranges in quality between two of its cinematic predecessors, the oops-a-baby Knocked Up and the oops-a-baby-with-my-gay-friend-in-a-horrible-movie The Next Best Thing. Luckily, Elfman’s series seems to be veering closer to the former. [THR]

or, oops, do you rape babies.
I think ElfMan is the only (famous) scientologist on the tube right now. The head honchos must have ordered all the scientologists in the land to watch that show or face the wrath of Kirstie Ally and her gaping maw.

This makes me lose faith in humanity.

Based on my personal 30 minutes (between HIMYM and 2.5 Men) of checking emails and taking a dump, I think they "Accidentally On Purpose" decided not to anger Tom Cruise.
