Paramount Nixes Anchorman 2
Stick a trident in Anchorman 2, because it's done. Director Adam McKay tweeted today that he did everything he could to interest Paramount in a sequel to the Will Ferrell comedy -- even luring back stars Steve Carell and Paul Rudd at reduced salaries -- but the studio still passed. Paramount must be saving their money for sequels people are REALLY clamoring for - like Beverly Hills Cop 4 and Zoolander 2.
