Watch Julia Roberts Overshadow Snow White in First Mirror, Mirror Trailer

Did you think that the Snow White and the Huntsman trailer starring Kristen Stewart was a little too dark? Did you find yourself wishing for Bollywood-like dance numbers, a wide-eyed princess, Armie Hammer's impersonation of a dog and Julia Roberts attempting (and failing) to play evil? If you answered yes to these questions, then does Hollywood have the Snow White movie for you! It's Tarsem Singh's Mirror, Mirror and now, the very first trailer is available to view.

Okay, maybe it's not that bad. But it's hard seeing America's Sweetheart attempt to play evil while still giving audiences her "Richard Gere just slammed a necklace case shut on my fingers" Pretty Woman laugh instead of evil cackles -- especially when re-enacting the Gone With the Wind corset scene. Maybe this is what America wants though: an evil queen stressing over wrinkles and financial problems that can only be solved by royal marriage while Lily Collins lurks through a forest in a ballgown.

Or maybe America just wants Snow White starring the girl from Twilight.

Mirror Mirror is scheduled for a March 16 release, approximately three months before Snow White and the Huntsman arrives in theaters.

AHAHAHHAAHHAHAHA....oh wait, you mean it's not a comedy?? oops...

  • j'accuse! says:

It's got to be intended as a comedy. Has Nathan Lane done any gritty dramas? Ever? And no, The Lion King does not count. It has to be intended as a comedy. I mean...come on! I still want to know where Armie Hammer keeps his twin though...

  • Andrew says:

It's got the look and feel of one of those late 90s ABC Disney TV-Movie musicals.

  • Jen Yamato says:

You guys... I'm totally in. Bollywood swashbuckling! Julia Roberts... doing whatever it is she's doing! I don't care. It's the first movie that even hints at the weird sense of humor Tarsem has in real life. I hope he makes a cameo!

  • The WInchester says:

I played a fun game that involved drinking a shot at every fade to black in that preview.
Now I'm seeing double and can't feel my kidneys.
But it's still not as bad as when I did it with that My Week With Marilyn trailer, when I saw Jim Morrison, and he told me to "Slow it down, man".

  • stolidog says:

Sorry, but I'm in (once it comes out on on Demand, of course)

  • Andrew says:

I don't know about any of you, but I'm going to use "Snow Way!" on a daily basis from now on.

  • Oh, man. Comment of the year.

    Count me in!!!

  • Chasmosaur says:

Worked better when it was My Best Friend's Wedding.

  • Issy says:

Beautiful scenery and costumes, fairytale story and a comedy? That rocks. In.

  • anonymous says:

oh god...this is going to be so awful, even as a comedy. Plus, i know the other Snow White movie is awesome in terms of visual inventiveness and there was no way that this one could compare in that category, but come on! Snow white is not Bjork! Also, Charlize Theron>>>>>>>>>Julia Roberts in every way as the queen.

  • Noah James says:

I feel awful, but whenever the characters kept repeating how Snow White was the most beautiful woman they've ever seen - I kept going, "Her?! The plain looking woman with Dan Hedaya eyebrows?!"

  • The WInchester says:

    Cheers, mate!
